After two weeks of hosting alleged sisters, in England allegedly to learn the language (as they were French), I found myself heading off to the south of France. The former suspicion as to their relation came about from a highly perceptive observation that they looked about as similar to each other as I do to someone who can be bothered to come up with an effective simile. The latter suspicion concerning their zest for the learning of the great language of Chaucer, Shakespeare and Dot Rotten came about after around the fourth or fifth day of my hosting them, when I realised that they had collectively said a total of two thirds of a word to me
